Lenovo has announced the the IdeaPad U300s, U300e and U400 for the Malaysian market.
First on the Ultrabook lineup is the U300s, its 14.9mm thick (2mm thinner than the Macbook Air) but the Macbook’s design tapers off at the end making it look thinner. The U300s is built from a single-piece of aluminium weighing 1.36 grams, and it comes with a 13.3-inch 16:0 widescreen HD display, 4GB DDR3 memory and up to 256GB of SSD storage.
It is powered by the second Intel Core i7 with a 10 second bootup. For cooling purposes, the U300s has a Breathable Keyboard to eliminate unsightly vents – air goes through the keyboard instead. No backlit keyboard here, but Lenovo says its spill proof. It has eight hour worth of battery life, WiFi connectivity, and a front facing webcam.
