Tel Aviv Fashion Week 2011 Review by FashionTV

Tel Aviv held its first fashion week in almost 20 years with special guest of honor Roberto Cavalli showcasing his Spring/Summer 2012 collection for the crowds. While Cavalli and wife Eva had exclusive interviews with FTV, we also attended many of the shows featuring both experienced and up and coming Israeli designers showcasing their newest pieces at HaTachana (The Station) in Tel Aviv-Yafo. In this clip, we present the best of the best during the week including favorites like the bright colors of Shai Shalom, the oversized fabrics and mixed prints of Kedem Sasson, the loud prints, gold, and feathers of Yosef, the glam frills of Galit Levi, the experienced beauty of Gideon and Karen Oberson, the lace, frills, and menswear femme of Alon Livne, and of course, the colorful animal print maxidresses and vibrant sequins of Roberto Cavalli. The show also features a presentation of up and coming Israeli designers like Inbal Gvili and Mandika and a runway show by some of the students and graduates of Israel’s most well-known fashion school, the Shenkar School of Engineering and Design. At the end, Israeli celebrities like Gal Uchovsky, Dana International and Dorit Bar-Or strutted their stuff in a star-studded fashion show for Igy (Israeli Gay Youth)

FTV host and model Frida Astrid has exclusive interviews with designers, models, Israeli actress Evelin Hagoel, singer Michal Amdursky, TLVFW Producer Moti Reif, and Eva Cavalli.
