Racism in Malaysia; Will the issue be resolved?

There is much talk on how racism in Malaysia these days.

The recent KFC fiasco in I-City Shah Alam is still fresh in memory.

How can this be avoided?

Racism is never going to stop, but we can reduce it by influencing others to stop. You don’t have to accept any form of racist hassle. Everyone, no matter what their nationality or race, has a right to live happily and free from discrimination.

I do not want to talk further about the policy or whether it gives a positive impact towards everyone. What i would like to say is, most Malays, Chinese and Indians that i have personally met are not racists and are actually open-minded towards others. If we talk to all sides, they are actually facing the same problems like other people. Low wages, unemployment, police oppression and so on. But there are still huge barriers among Malays, Chinese and Indians. Why? Can’t we unite as one?
