Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed (pic) has tested positive for Covid-19.
The Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Economy) was confirmed to be Covid-19 positive on Saturday (Jan 9) night, having been tested as soon as he reached Kota Baru on the morning of the same day.
Mustapa is now warded at the Hospital Raja Perempuan Zainab II, Kota Baru, Kelantan for further observation.
He is said to be in stable condition, according to a statement from his office.
He previously tested negative for COVID-19 on Jan 1.
The minister “apologised for any inconvenience caused by this and asked for everyone’s prayers for the ease of all our affairs”, the statement said.
