Beginning this year, the Pahang government will approve applications for land ownership titles from house owners within five years automatically.
Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Adnan Yaakob said the applications, however, would only be approved if they did not overlap with applications for reserve land such as forest, railway and river reserves.
“However, we hope this new measure will enable more people to own a plot of land and house,”says

State government agreed to reduce the land premium to 50 sen per sq ft from around RM4,000 per acre previously and to abolish the premium for owners of house plots whose leasehold was increased from 60 years to 90 years.
