Do Something Good – Malaysia’s Volunteering Network Launch (Video)

In a time where all the news seems to point to doom and gloom it’s a breath of fresh air to hear about Malaysia’s Volunteering Network – Do Something Good.

Do Something Good is a platform that hopes to bring together NGOs and volunteers for the benefit of those in need, according to Kal Joffres from Tandemic (the company behind the project), the platform has already garnered 1,000 volunteers and they decided to create this platform as they were meeting people regularly who wished to volunteer but didn’t know how, while at the same time NGOs were exclaiming that there were not enough volunteers around.

DSG also manage to roped in celebrities like Ben Ibrahim, Amber Chia, Daphne Iking and Azlan Iskandar to help the cause.

Also present during the launch was Higher Education Deputy Minister Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah and he said DSG was a wonderful platform that would empower people to make a contribution to society.
