A man and his daughter who had been missing for four days were found murdered in their house in Taman Kinrara, Puchong, here late Sunday.
Serdang police chief Supt Abdul Razak Elias said Monday the bodies of the 56-year-old man, a private sector retiree, and his 23-year-old daughter, a lecturer at a private institution in the Klang Valley, were found at 9.50 pm.
He said police were alerted about the incident after the man’s wife lodged a police report in Segamat Sunday.
“We were told that she had gone to Segamat with her husband.
“He left four days ago to pick up their daughter and take her to Segamat as well,” Supt Abdul Razak said when met at the scene late Sunday.
He said the woman became worried when she could not contact both her husband and daughter after the husband left Segamat last Thursday, and lodged a missing persons report.
