Group Lotus plc has confirmed that Dany Bahar was terminated as chief executive officer of Lotus with immediate effect and appointed a new chief operating officer.
In a statement posted on its website, the company said late Thursday the decision was made by the board of Group Lotus plc “following the results of an investigation into a complaint made against him by the company’s penultimate holding company, DRB-Hicom Bhd”. Lotus also said Aslam Farikullah, 51, was appointed as chief operating officer with immediate effect.
It said Aslam has over 26 years working experience, most of which was in the automotive industry.
