A portion of the Concorde Hotel lobby, here, was severely damaged when the ceiling of the hotel caved in today.
Media attempts to survey the damage and to obtain additional information about the incident turned out fruitless when the hotel compound was cordoned off to the public and secured by security officers.
However, it is understood that no one was injured in the incident.
A security officer who refused to be identified said the hotel was under renovation.
Meanwhile, Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director of operations Mohd Sani Harul when contacted said the department did not receive any report about the incident.
