While the nation was firmly glued to their TV sets yesterday to watch the exceptional match between Malaysia and Japan in the Thomas Cup Final, not many may have known that there was indeed a Malaysian involved in the Japanese badminton setup.
Izuan Ibrahim a 30-year-old Malaysian and formerly under the tutelage of one Misbun Sidek through Nusa Mahsuri is said to have coached the likes of Japanese singles player Kento Momoto.
